Bootcamp has officially come to the piste. Indoor real snow centre, Chill Factore, is raring to go with a global first that’s sure to test even the biggest of fitness fans. Bootcamp on Snow is set to be the latest fitness craze.

Working against the resistance of the snow gives those taking part a workout quite unlike anything else – it’s tougher than performing the same routine on solid ground – as it forces a much higher range of movement in the lower body, making it perfect for toning lower and upper legs and bottom.
With warm clothes and the appropriate footwear – Bootcamp on Snow is not only an extremely effective and thorough workout, it’s also hugely enjoyable and totally unique. The heavier clothes will also add to the workout as the body is carrying not just its own weight but that of snow boots. Of course, the -2.5°C temperature on the slope contributes to the easily burnt 600 calories per one hour session.



Due to the cold temperatures, the class will be tailored for higher intensity exercises, focusing on intense warm ups to ready the body for exercise and sustaining this status throughout the routine. Led by two of the UK’s most experienced Bootcamp trainers, Chill Factore Bootcamp on Snow works in a similar way to interval training where the body is constantly moving at different speeds in order to be more effective.
