It’s the most wonderful time of the year – the season of awards and the celebration of fashion. Which is why Harvey Nichols Manchester gathered the most glamorous and stylish guests, including Abbey Crouch, Natasha Hamilton, Rachel Shenton, Lisa Carrick, Jude Cisse, Dani Lawrence, Leanne Brown and STYLEetc team to showcase SS13 trends.
Scented by Jo Malone’s latest fragrance, Earl Grey & Cucumber, with U-shaped all white catwalk and Top models from London and the North West, including Britain’s Next Top Model 2011 winner Jade Thompson, the Fashion Show screamed luxury.
Showcasing the array of trends for both men and women, the catwalk opened Time to Reflect theme – with metallics, sequins and sparkle. Followed by STYLEetc’s most favourite theme Neon News, models strutted down the catwalk in breathtaking dresses by BCBG Max Azria, Stella McCartney and Roberto Cavalli. To conclude the show, Harvey Nichols’ stylists chose the Precision Whites theme as the hottest trend of the upcoming summer that left all guests eager to shop to prepare for the new season.
Using inspiration from the fabrics, colours and patterns in the trends to create a glamorous and chic look, new to Harvey Nichols brand, Stila, was the official makeup sponsor for the event. Guests loved the lipstick, Valentina, used in the show so much; it sold out the same night. The models’ hair was styled exclusively by Mark Izzard using L’Oreal Professional.
Guests were invited to shop the pieces from the show in a late night shopping party whilst enjoying complimentary HN Prosecco throughout the night. To ensure they’re looking fabulous for Spring/Summer 2013 customers got their hands on the hottest designer pieces.
