The newly refurbished Zara on New Cathedral Street, reopens to the public tomorrow, November 8th, after almost four months of renovations, but STYLEetc, along with bloggers and fashion writers, had the chance to visit the store today and get the grand tour.
The new Zara store is split over four floors and there is fabulous fashion on each level, from kids in the basement, to women on the first and second, right up to men’s at the top.
The layout of the new store is designed to make you interact with the merchandise and the way its displayed effortlessly builds the outfit for us. This new store image, which is similar to that of London’s Zara, is designed with space and lighting in mind to create neutral and uncluttered spaces which ultimately make it easier for us to shop.
Not only does this store look good, it’s actually good for the environment too! Unlike other stores, the new Zara Manchester saves an average of 30% on electricity and 50% on water consumption, meaning you can shop knowing that they are doing their bit to save the planet.
On our tour, we took in some of the hottest trends for A/W13 and we also discovered pieces that are exclusive to the Manchester store, which includes this fab pair of gold boots! Plus, there are may items that are limited edition, so once they’re gone, they’re gone!
And that fashion didn’t just stop on Women’s wear! The basement has some great pieces to keep even the youngest of fashionesta’s on trend, including mini versions of the adult sized clothes!
On the top floor, the menswear is equally great, with a mixture of prints, classic tailoring and limited edition pieces, including a selection of suits that are in just four UK stores!
So head down to Zara this weekend to check out the chic new store!! And a little tip from us, their delivery days are Sunday and Thursday, so make sure you check out the store each week because they had 30,000 new pieces in store last year!
