wilko safari baby book review

Designed to keep babies entertained and amused, Wilko’s Safari Baby Book certainly looks the part. Our Mum and Baby put this product to the test to see if it lived up to expectations and positive online reviews.

first impressions

This book is a colourful affair, bright and vividly designed to capture baby’s attention in an instance. It can be used from birth upwards so is suitable for very young babies and is squishy and soft as to not concern parents it could do any damage.

Not particularly wordy, this item simply has the animal’s names on each page, easy to start their reading off and tech them which animal is which from a young age.

Practical to take on the go, this book features clip on the top so it can be quickly fastened to a pram and be taken on the go for when baby needs entertaining or distracting when you’re out and about.

As with many young baby products, the focus is on the texture of this product as it allows babies to squish the fabric and feel the crinkly material. The edges are defined with a rounded plastic corner for further texture and the inside pages feature pop-out fabrics for additional stimulation.

Extremely purse-friendly, this product is only £4.00. Affordable to mums of all budgets, the value for money really can’t be argued with when looking at the detail in creation of this product.

tried and tested

Here’s what our mum had to say about the Safari Book:

“This is a lovely colourful soft book, with plenty of different textures that interest my 7 month old. Lots of details that he can play with and is a nice size for him to hold. He loves this book. This features an animal per page and is more about textures and colours than reading. This comes with a clip which makes it easy to attach to the pram and he loves to chew it”.

Verdict: 5/5
