Karina and James Hitchen, the powerhouse duo behind Spinningfields’ chic celeb haunt Neighbourhood and BBQ hotspot Southern Eleven launched their new restaurant Victor’s on Ashley Road, in the gloriously green suburb of Hale this week.
Victor’s elegant eatery is set to bring The Hampton’s relaxing style, substance and sophistication to the Manchester suburb with contemporary cuisine, beautiful drinks and casual fine dining with a musical vibrant atmosphere.
Celebrity guests at the launch included Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Waring, songstress Carolynne Poole, former Desperate Scousewife Elissa Corrigan, pop singer Liz McClarnon, Jude Cisse, Nicola Smith and make-up artist to the stars Armand Beasley.
Partygoers were treated to celebratory cosmopolitans on arrival followed by a selection of quirky cocktails, premium Prosecco and opulent Champagnes.
Victor’s creative director, Karina Hitchen expressed her delight over the success of the launch:
“The turnout has been fantastic! It’s great to have everybody here to help us celebrate the new venue, sample the cocktails and taste the menu! The night has been a real success and we’re delighted to officially open Victor’s to the people of Hale.”
Guests also sampled the International menu which has been fused with America’s flamboyance, with a selection of coastal canapés of sushi and sublime seafood creations, followed by miniature-grilled meats, succulent hamburgers and scrumptious chocolate praline paves. All of which are crafted by the city’s most coveted chefs with local premium produce and the finest hand picked ingredients.
Suburban diners can revel in a selection of scrumptious breakfasts with fresh fruit, omelettes, pancakes, bagels and benedicts before moving on to lavish lunches and delectable dinnertime dishes of fresh seafood, scattered sushi, grilled meats and flavoursome pasta.
Victor’s signature dishes include the daily ‘Bento Box’ of sublime sushi rice, fennel & cucumber with miso soup and the lunchtime ‘Lobster Taco’ with pickled apple and avocado mayonnaise as well as the succulent, unforgettable ‘Porterhouse Steak’.

Victor’s bar menu boasts extraordinary cocktails with funfair flavours and explosive bubbles with quirky snacks alongside worldly wines, spirits and opulent champagnes.
Celebrity designer Nadine Marabi has also created stylish bespoke uniforms for Victor’s team with their very own custom-made crest! And the launch was the first time we were treated to seeing them! The Victor’s ladies were stylishly adorned in preppy pinstripe navy shirts with a hand-sewn crest, paired with chic skirts and fitted trousers whilst the gentlemen wore crisp white shirts with buttons, braces and vintage bow ties. Nadine explains that the team’s tailored attire was “inspired by classic Ralph Lauren, The Hamptons and Victor’s chic interior.”
