Self-proclaimed chicken lovers here at STYLEetc. we could hardly pass up the opportunity to try one of Nandos newest menu offerings at the Manchester Picadilly store, the Fino Sunset Burger, ahead of it’s official release on 18th October.
Doing the rounds the team at Nandos stores across the UK allowed a select, lucky few to trial the new burger, accompanied with a few favourite sides to go with.
Our team were treated to additional sweet potato wedges, spicy rice, peri peri chips and garlic bread to accompany the burger. For dessert, sweet lovers were indulged with choc-a-lot cake, white chocolate raspberry swirl and the newest addition to the dessert menu, two styles of delicious brownie; peri-peri chocolate and salted caramel.
Inspired by warm colours of the Southern African sunset, Nando’s latest dish combines flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken with an indulgent sweet and sticky Smoky Red Pepper Chutney, topped with melted cheddar cheese; served on a bed of baby spinach leaves inside a new soft, sweet roll – the Bolo do Caco. This burger is a more than worthy replacement for the Churasco Thigh burger and takes centre stage in a new Nando’s menu which will also see:
Chicken Thighs on Salads: A succulent, flame kissed, PERi-PERi addition to any salad.
Houmous on Salads:Because everything tastes better with a helping of houmous. Especially when it’s served sprinkled with PERi-Seeds and Grains.
Spier Chenin Blanc:Known as the white grape of South Africa, a crisp and cool wine to compliment any PERi-PERi dish.
