The Clothes Show in association with Alcatel is gearing up for its highly anticipated return to Birmingham’s NEC this December, bringing together the nation’s favourite talent, brands and industry experts from the world of fashion, beauty and showbiz for five days of unmissable shopping and catwalk experiences. Building on its long-established success of discovering talent, the popular annual event has also launched The Clothes Show Discovers, in search of a male and female artiste to join the outstanding cast and headline the iconic Alcatel Fashion Theatre in association with Capital FM.
To present the refreshed and exciting Theatre performances, The Clothes Show has confirmed some of the UK’s most recognisable TV talent; cheeky chappy Jamie Laing, Presenter and fashion icon Laura Whitmore and TV’s brightest rising star Laura Jackson. Kick-starting the first day on Friday 2nd December will be Laura Jackson. The presenter and fashion expert appeared at the show back in 2013 when she hosted the Image Catwalk, and has since appeared in the media spotlight countless times for her flawless style and presenting, most notably for hosting Take Me Out: The Gossip alongside Mark Wright. The latest name to be announced is Irish TV Presenter and beauty Laura Whitmore.
As well as presenting on MTV, Laura recently launched her first festival inspired jewellery range, Daisy, alongside her catwalk debut at London Fashion Week in 2015, where she strutted her stuff for designer Bora Aksu. Laura will present on Sunday 4th December in the Alcatel Fashion Theatre. Jamie Laing will take over the presenting reins from Laura as he takes to the Theatre on Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th December. One of the most celebrated cast members of Made in Chelsea, and a returning favourite to The Clothes Show, Jamie now has an extremely successful YouTube Channel, Jamie’s Happy Hour, producing weekly vlogs, funny shenanigans, silly pranks and crazy challenges.
The recognisable talent will be joined by over 40 models and dancers as they take to stage for a fastpaced explosion of fashion and high-energy performances – a highlight for every visitor to the show each year. Visitors can also expect to see non-stop catwalk shows, aspirational fashion experts, exciting music acts, educational insight, tempting bars, trend presentations and exclusive interviews, as well as shop from more than 350 designer, high-street and independent fashion and beauty brands.
