2014 marks the 90th anniversary of Belstaff. The iconic, authentic and luxurious British brand will celebrate Belstaff as global British brand steeped in heritage and spirit of adventure.

After being bought in 2011 by the Swiss luxury brand leader, Labelux Group Belstaff was re-launched and firmly positioned as a British luxury lifestyle brand with multiple product categories including women’s and men’s ready to wear, outerwear, handbags, shoes and accessories. To celebrate and honour its heritage, Belstaff will have a series of collaborations and limited edition commemorative product launches throughout the year.
Commemorative ‘Union Jack’ Trialmaster Jacket
Belstaff has designed limited edition waxed cotton Trialmaster jacket for both men and women’s with a faded Union Flag print on the back of the jacket. The commemorative Union Jack Trialmaster is made from cotton sourced from a historic British Mill and features the more relaxed silhouette and simplified lines of the Trialmaster of the 1950s. The jacket, produced in a very limited run, will be available exclusively at www.Belstaff.com, Belstaff flagship store locations globally and select wholesale partners. Each garment is individually hand finished.

90 Years of Speed & Style: Limited Edition Retrospective Coffee Table Book
A limited edition retrospective of the brands history dating back to 1924 will be illustrated in a hardbound coffee table book. The content details Belstaff’s history from foundation to modern day and features Belstaffians over the years including Amelia Earhart, T.E. Lawrence, Gracie Fields, Steve McQueen, Kate Moss, Ewan McGregor, David Beckham, Brad Pitt and George Clooney all wearing Belstaff as well as works by legendary photographers including Steven Meisel, Craig McDean and Peter Lindbergh. This book will be displayed in flagship store locations globally, in Belstaff showrooms and select partners and will not be available for sale.
In-Store Product Customisation
Belstaff will offer complimentary personalised monogramming services to customers that purchase any hand-waxed leather or cotton pieces in the New Bond Street (London), Via Spiga (Milan), Maximilianstraße (Munich) and Madison Avenue (New York) boutiques throughout the month of May with on-site customisation available at the London boutique during the first two weeks of May. Belstaffians can also bring in any leather or waxed cotton Belstaff jacket purchased over the last 90 years to be custom stamped. Leather garments will be embossed directly and hand-waxed cotton items will feature two types of leather monogramming to be affixed to the garment with personally selected hardware.
Hashtag Integration
The hashtags #Belstaff90 and #SpeedandStyle will be used throughout social communications and on www.Belstaff.com. Key moto influencers will use these hashtags to highlight vintage Belstaff garments and commemorative imagery on key social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter and Belstaff fans will be able to join along for a chance to win the limited edition Commemorative Union Jack Trialmaster.
