‘Barbour People’ comes to Manchester, offering a free personalisation service for Barbour fans who are photographed for the online style gallery
On Thursday 2nd March, British heritage and lifestyle brand Barbour will be visiting Manchester to kick off a UK-wide tour where Barbour wearers will be photographed for the brand’s popular Tumblr page, Barbour People, which showcases the most stylish people wearing Barbour globally.
Between 12.30pm and 5pm that day, Barbour fans are invited to visit the brand’s St Ann’s Square store to have their picture taken in their Barbour outfits. As a thank you for taking part, there will be a complimentary bespoke monogramming service on offer in store so that Barbour jackets, knitwear and scarves can be personalised for the wearer.
Paul Wilkinson, Director of Global Marketing for Barbour, commented, ‘Barbour People is a celebration of the individual style, the fascinating stories and incredible memories that some of our fans have, and we wanted to chronicle these around the country with a special Barbour People tour. By offering a complimentary monogramming service for those who take part in the tour, we’re giving our fans the opportunity to personalise their Barbour pieces even more as part of the experience.’
Following the Manchester event, Barbour will be taking the tour to its Flagship store in Covent Garden, London on 24th March, followed by Carnaby Street, London on 28th April. Further dates across the UK are also set to be announced.
