F&F is known as Tesco’s accessible and affordable clothing line, combining current trends and wearable pieces to suit a range of ages. STYLEetc recently had the pleasure to attend the SS18 collection launch in London; deigned to showcase the coming seasons key pieces.
The launch took place in the iconic Vinyl Factory in Soho and the place had been transformed into a summer themed hub. Pastel coloured walls fit the themed bill and led way through each room seamlessly.
The gathering showcased both men’s, women’s and childrenswear ranges, with the latter offering some unbelievably cute outfits varying from swimming costumes to unicorn adorned attire. Lots of sparkles were found of course, as one would expect for children’s wear, but also some simpler understated pieces so there was a well round range.
The SS18 collection was delightfully surprising by how stylish the presentation was, with exquisite attention to detail. The bright colours, gorgeous stitching, and consistent theme of rose gold details were incredibly classy, and made us desperate for summer to roll around again.
On the menswear front, the collection gave a similar, understated feel, reminiscent of casual cocktails on the beach. There were lots of clean cut lines amongst tailoring, linen jackets and a range of neutral and pastel colours.
There was less choice amongst menswear perhaps than with the women’s collection, showing priority understanding of the F&F core customer.
Regardless, men won’t feel lack of effort with this collection, ranging from three-piece suits to throw on jumpers.
The women’s collection was undoubtedly the main event, covering everything from athleisure clothing through a selection of beautiful sleepwear and including plenty of everyday through to evening attire. Nothing seemed to be missing from this collection, meaning you could easily shop your whole wardrobe at F&F.
It was clear off- the- shoulder tops and dresses will be returning for another season, accompanied by ever popular wide leg trousers to boot.
The silhouettes presented show consciousness of providing flattering fits for a range of body shapes and sizes, catering again to the everday woman.
An array of floaty summer pieces were cut to be comfortable and slip easily on and off without compromising on results.
F&Fs are currently showing AW17 in store, but keep your eyes peeled early into the new year in store and online for the launch of spring/summer.
