Residents in the fashionable suburb of Heaton Mersey, Greater Manchester, will be delighted to welcome “Buffalo”, an original concept in drinking and dining.
Buffalo Café-Wine Bar, as its name suggests, serves a nutritious menu of buffalo dishes and burgers to customers on a daily basis, using locally sourced products wherever possible.
Buffalo is a healthy, lean and nutritious meat, making it the perfect choice for any diet. Not only is it high in protein, vitamin B and iron, it also has up to 90 per cent less fat than beef.
The menu at Buffalo is mainly based around the healthy and sweet tasting buffalo meat sourced from a farm in North Wales, with a tapas-style dining option for lighter bites, encouraging sharing plates among friends.
A warm and friendly welcome awaits with excellent coffee and a menu filled with breakfast, lunch, snacks and treats, along with the “Little Buffalo’s” menu making it the perfect addition for Didsbury Road.
The transformation into an evening dining experience is a delight for foodies, with an interesting seasonal menu accompanied by an extensive list of carefully selected wines.
Owner Clive Tattersall says: “We are thrilled to be opening the first ever café wine bar in Heaton Mersey. We could see the demand for a dining experience for families and young professionals alike, with the growing influx of new residents into the area.
“All our produce is locally sourced where possible and we have spent a lot of time in selecting the wine and making sure the choices are perfectly matched to dishes on the menu. Whether it’s a short stay for a relaxing cup of coffee while working or a three course meal, Buffalo really has the flexibility to cater for all.
“We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to welcoming new customers into Buffalo. We have lots of events planned, including wine tastings, whiskey evenings and a charity party later in the year. Information on upcoming events will be added regularly to the website, Facebook and Twitter page.”
