Beauty shopping for many can be an endless chore, set to consume time, money and patience if you aren’t sure what you’re looking for. MINTD box aims to alleviate some of that shopping stress by bringing a themed beauty box to your door monthly (or bi-monthly) which we have reviewed to rate it for your benefit.
Minimally designed, the box is gorgeously presented, with all contents packaged in white tissue inside a ribbon tied box. The branding is spot on and every instagrammers dream, making the imagery all the easier to shoot for this feature. The first impression given once opening is gathered from the mixture of pretty scents, with the Cocolux candle in particular standing out.
The August edition of the MINTD Box featured cleanser, toner, face balm, exfoliating cream and a scented candle. We have broken down each item below.
SJAL Deep Pore Cleanser
Very light as a cleanser, this gel-creme offers a refreshing cleanse to build into a daily routine. A small amount is needed each application, hence the 30ml bottle. The presentation gives an expensive feel and like all the other items in this box it smells beautifully.
Su-Man Rehydrating Toning Essence
Deigned to be applied post-cleanser, the Su-Man Toning Essence is a gel which changes into a more watery hydrator base for your make up. The formula lives up to its promise of leaving skin dewy after application which can be easily washed off to leave skin fresh.
Cocolux Australia Tonka Bean & Lime Zest Candle
Luxe in aesthetic, the Cocolux candle smells truly divine, we just can’t get enough of the sweet coconut scent which is poignant from opening the jar. Self-titled as Earth-Friendly, this candle is created from natural and sustainable propriety coconut wax. Citrus notes are added to the coconut for a beautifully blended scent.
Earth Tu Face Hydrate & Repair Face Balm
A delicate combination of floral scents the Earth Tu Balm is used sparingly to cover a vast base. The balm has the benefit of reducing irritation and redness in the skin. Easily put on, a tiny bit of balm is left for ten minutes after being rubbed into the skin to offer easy application.
Ameliorate Smoothing Body Exfoliant
The final product included was the exfoliator. Part and package of the skin hydration theme, this item sets your skin up so the rest can all work together. Biodegradable microdermabrasianand, lactic acid and other impressive science terms work together to cleanse pores and keep your skin as a clean base, ideal to set you up for days of heavy make up.
