The Food Festival at Lowry Outlet, MediaCityUK is back this May with a star-studded line up and extensive programme of entertainment. Taking place from 2nd -4 th May, the Food Festival 2015 will deliver the perfect weekend to wannabe chefs, food lovers and families alike.
Household favourite, Gok Wan will make his debut appearance at the Lowry Outlet Food Festival on Saturday 2nd May, and visitors are invited to watch live demonstrations of Gok cooking his favourite healthy Chinese dishes in The Cookery Theatre.
On Sunday 3rd May, Celebrity chef Paul Hollywood will host a series of hands-on cookery demonstrations also in The Cookery Theatre. Visitors can pick up insider tips and recipe ideas to take away with them to try at home. What’s more, fans of Gok Wan and Paul Hollywood will get the opportunity to have books signed by the chefs at set times during the weekend.
Monday 4th May is all about the children, with the free Kids Cookery Zone hosting food-themed activities, giant games and Cbeebies stars Mr Bloom and ‘I can Cook’ presenter Katy Ashworth will be performing live and meeting and greeting fans.
During the three days, the Plaza will be transformed into foodie heaven and will become home to 120 tempting food and drink producers selling everything from artisan cheese to handmade jewellery to entice visitors, with cookery masterclasses and street food vendors boasting the finest regional food and drink, as well as award-winning national and global cuisine, cookware, crafts and accessories.
The Lowry Outlet Food Festival 2015 has something for everyone and offers exclusive products that cannot be found on the high street. Visitors can enjoy family-friendly live-music whilst strolling around the markets, eating, drinking and enjoying the atmosphere.
