Beauty lovers will rejoice at the news that celebrated make-up brand Pat McGrath has now got a stand within the Selfridges Manchester, Beauty Hall. Launching last week, the brand has opened up shop at the Exchange Square Selfridges (no word on whether this will continue to the Trafford Centre branch yet).
Beauty devotees will surely be excited about this move, now having the opportunity to shop the full range from Pat McGrath. The collection includes; primer, mascara, eyeshadow palettes, lip products, setting powder and even the newly launched foundation range (only released on Friday 26th July).
The lipsticks take up a large space on the stands, offering a broad range of textures and shades to choose from. When viewing the range, our make-up expert explained the lipsticks come in three forms; matte, gloss and glitter. What was intriguing to us was the combination of nude and everyday hues with a glitter finish, we definitely spied some shades we can’t wait to try for ourselves.
There are make-up artists on hand to give recommendations, as well as creating looks for customers upon request. We decided to try a session for ourselves and were impressed with the results. The Mothership I palette was used to create a smoky blue eye look that was bold and statement. Our artist gave us tips to recreate the look at home and set the colours atop a clean, fresh look on the face. We got a sneak peek at the new foundation, which we will be fully reviewing at a later date, as well as trialling the lip products and mascara,
The products range from affordable with the £35.00 lipsticks and £26.00 mascaras, to the higher-end investment pieces like the range of Mothership palettes at £115.000 (which we completely fell in love with). Pat McGrath is definitely one to check out if the brand isn’t already on your radar, a trip to Selfridges to try the range is a must.
