8. Dalmatian Coast, Croatia
Found on the western coast of Croatia, the Dalmatian Coast is both picturesque and historical. The city of Split is home to a number of UNESCO listed sights and monuments such as Diocletain’s Palace which was built back in the 3rd century. As well as wandering through history, the Dalmatian Coast is home to some of the most stunning sandy beaches set against lush green forests, dramatic mountains and crystal clear waters.
Hvar and Zadar are the places to head on the Dalmatian Coast for chic restaurants and vibrant nightlife that last until sunrise. One of the prominent destinations on the Dalmatian Coast has to be Dubrovnik with the city walls and old town being a UNESCO Heritage Site in their own right.
