Earlier this month, a group of journalists, bloggers and foodies gathered in North London’s chicest area, Marylebone, to sample the finest new offerings on the Sushi Shop’s menu.
These ranged from mouth watering new sushi flavour combinations, such as the spicy volcano roll (a salmon and avocado roll topped with chilli sauce) and the moorish new donburi selection. This innovative range is the Sushi Shops first step into serving hot food and it’s not to be missed. The beef donburi is a feast for the eyes and tastes just as good as it looks – a generous bowl of hot rice topped with tender seared beef and donburi sauce – delicious!
For all you health enthusiasts, the Quinoa Salad is just the ticket. Beautifully presented with a sprinkling of Mother Nature’s crowning glory, pomegranate seeds and filled with finely chopped vegetables you’ll feel just as virtuous as you are satisfied.
Although not yet available outside of London, if the Sushi Shop’s French success story is anything to go by, it’s likely to spread to a city near you in the future. Currently, the Sushi Shop has two bases both in London and their premium offering is available all over the Capital thanks to their in house delivery service. Next time you’re in London and you’d like a unique take on Japanese cuisine – check out The Sushi Shop.
The new menu will be in all Sushi Shops in the UK from February 2016 with salads starting from £3.90 and 18 piece Sushi Boxes from £12.90
